We’re delighted to celebrate an incredible achievement - we've now raised over £30,000 to support the continuation of the Hackney Dudes, which means we're 60% there! Fundraising got off to a brilliant start, with £10,000 raised between January and March — a clear sign of the value of the group within the community. 

Then came an extraordinary act of generosity: a single donation of £20,000 from an individual supporter, taking the total past this remarkable milestone. The Hackney Dudes provides a vital space for connection, support and community for older men in Hackney. Reaching £30,000 is a huge step towards ensuring the group can continue to thrive. 

A massive thank you to everyone who has contributed so far, and especially to the Hackney Dudes themselves for their drive and determination to sustain something that matters so much. 

We're now waiting to hear whether the Dudes will be able to take part in this year's match funding campaign in support of Small Charities Week in June, which would give us a fantastic opportunity to smash the target - so watch this space!
